AIC24 at work at Vienna Scientific Cluster

Vienna Scientific Cluster (VSC) is a development partner of Asperitas and is the first to start using an AIC24 prototype for production. The customised VSC version of the module contains 24 servers and external interfaces for the high performance network environment based on Infiniband. Asperitas has optimised this setup for Infiniband cable management and additional features to study the natural convection flow.In the next few months, VSC will perform a range of tests to assess the possibilities of the AIC24. These includes experiments with maximum loads and temperatures.Results of this testing by VSC will be used to further optimise the AIC24 and the concept of Immersed Computing.
